HISTORY
The Orthofan® orthodontic lab was established on 1 January 1994 and after thirty years is the first and only business specialising in orthodontic technique in the province of Teramo. It mainly deals with the design and construction of all removable, fixed, functional, combined, interceptive, gnathological and pre-prosthetic orthodontic devices. It also offers courses and seminars in orthodontic technique for dental technicians, with theoretical sessions in its own state-of-the-art lecture room for 40 participants and practical sessions at its 12 state-of-the-art workstations, which are ergonomic and functional in every respect.
The equipment is state-of-the-art, such as a laser welder and 3D scanner for virtual set-ups, digital models and invisible aligners.
CONTINUOUS UPDATES
The Orthodontic Laboratory has long been using EEC standard products in compliance with the 2007/47/EC (ex 93/42) requirements that have been in force since 14 June 1998 and the new MDR. Every device produced is followed by an ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified quality management system that controls the entire production process in the laboratory.
The in-house staff also keeps up to date through courses, congresses and meetings in Italy and abroad. It therefore keeps the cultural level of Orthofan at a very high level. This is also one of the main goals in addition to the satisfaction of our orthodontist customers and their patients!
Finally, there is an important and detailed archive with books, journals and more, which can be consulted to solve any kind of orthognathic technical problem. Above all, this archive can be consulted by all customers.
