Orthofan Effect clear aligners are a system of sequential orthodontic aligners developed, designed and manufactured entirely in our laboratory under the technical supervision of Fabio Fantozzi.

Contrary to many industrial systems, Orthofan Effect aligners are produced entirely within the Orthofan laboratory, using high-definition three-dimensional models and CE-certified materials.
Each case is handled individually: after the digital design phase, each aligner is finished and checked manually by qualified dental technicians to ensure precision, comfort, and quality construction.

ANALYSIS
After receiving traditional impressions or digital scans from the dental practice, the laboratory begins an in-depth orthodontic analysis of the dental arches.
The clinical indications received from the dentist via the prescription are used as the basis for the technical planning of the digital movement.
Technical planning is carried out using professional digital orthodontic setup software, which allows for precise simulation of the treatment phases and the tooth alignment process.
Orthofan uses three different digital design systems, each with specific characteristics, so that the most suitable solution can be chosen for each individual clinical case.
For us, every case is unique, as is the collaborative relationship with the dentist who relies on our laboratory.

Once the digital simulation of tooth movements has been completed, the laboratory sends the clinician all the documentation necessary for evaluating the case.
The Dentist receives:
- the 3D files of the orthodontic simulation
- visualisation of the patient’s initial and final condition
- the number of aligners required to complete the treatment
- technical information useful for treatment planning
This phase is particularly important because it allows the clinician to share the digital orthodontic treatment plan with the patient, accurately assessing the timing, methods and objectives of dental alignment.
Only after the treatment plan has been accepted by the patient and the clinician can the production phase begin.
PRODUCTION
Once the design has been approved, the Orthofan laboratory begins production of the customised clear aligners.
The first step involves creating high-definition 3D prototype dental models, which represent the different stages of orthodontic treatment.
Each model is then checked and processed by qualified dental technicians who thermoform the aligners using professional high-pressure machinery.
Each aligner is then individually finished, checked and inspected to ensure that the final device guarantees:
